Many of my clients and students had tried to get me to join 12 Daily Pro. My first glance at the auto-surf business caused me to laugh at the 12 percent a day payout and politely decline.
While I was vacationing in Palm Springs last November I came across the site and had the time to read the FAQ. I've got some E-Gold I can afford to lose...let's test this out!
Everyday like clockwork I did my 5 minutes of work surfing. As my account grew by 12 percent a day, I could see why people were getting addicted to this.
I kept my account topped-up at $6000 for each 12 day cycle so I would earn the maximum payout. My strategy was to make back my initial investment and continue earning $22,000 a month with the administration's money.
In December 2005 E-Gold was investigated by the Secret Service and the FBI. Soon thereafter, 12DP started to buckle and by February 2006 federal charges were being laid by the SEC with "ponzi scheme" clearly mentioned in the affidavit.
Is 12 Daily Pro a ponzi scheme or a victim of ruthless payment processors? Maybe just a poor misguided businesswoman who made the mistake of not setting 12DP up as an offshore venture. I don't know.
I do know that I'm owed $31,000 from 12 Daily Pro and I have no hope of ever seeing this money. Luckily, I have a solid money-making business I can return to.
UPDATED February 2008
The lawyers that are representing our interests have announced that we should see a small percentage of our money back by March 31. They also sent a statement of account that shows hundreds of thousands of dollars going to legal firms of one kind or another.
Now I feel like I've been ripped-off twice.
After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
