Giblink

Giblink, a mystery even to itself, tries to give users a variety of features that can already be found on websites such as GoDaddy.com, MySpace, and YouTube. Each of these websites earns millions in revenue each year and Giblink seems to be trying to follow in their footsteps by combining the unique features found in each on one website.

It seems as though the makers of Giblink couldn't come up with a unique idea of their own and decided to create something similar to what can already be found on the market. Why do they think this is a successful way to conduct business? No one seems to know. They're dabbling in a handful of difficult niche markets - markets difficult to tackle one at a time -- and are making an attempt to overcome quite a bit of marketing adversity in one shot. We give them credit for being competitive, but their competitive edge is exactly the thing that will drive them to failure as the quickly over-saturate the market. They don't have another unique idea in the wings to take over once they reach their maximum saturation level.

Another problem with Giblink, aside from the fact that it's just not unique, is that it doesn't offer anything tangible. They provide something that can only be described as a bunch of internet utility tools rolled into one, but services are not tangible. If you're going to offer an intangible product or service, must first find something unique (Giblink fails here) and then you absolutely must be able to accurately describe what it does (Giblink fails in this category as well).

Several Giblink members have recently approached me very recently with the intention of convincing me to sing up for the program. I told each one that he had 30 seconds to take me up buyer's mountain by telling me what Giblink is and what it does. Apparently 30 seconds wasn't enough time, so I extended the challenge to a full two minutes. Sadly, no one was able to describe the actual idea behind Giblink. As a matter of fact, every single one of them spent more time telling me about how much money I could make on Giblink then they spent telling me about Giblink itself. I walked away from the conversation with very little information about the features Giblink has to offer. No matter what business opportunity you are looking at, you should always be able to discuss more than the financial benefit.

After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
