Gold Calling

Just thinking about Gold Calling makes me think of the Gold Rush of the 1800's. Thousands of individuals rushed North thinking they would come home wealthy, but most found no gold and many perished in the process. Only the stores and businessmen selling supplies seemed to make any money during the Gold Rush.

Gold Calling is an interesting combination of both product and home business opportunity. Sales and marketing representatives generally grow very tired of making phone calls or sending emails to their leads. They know that people are quickly growing weary of flash programs and audio ads on websites; they have a product they want people to see, plain and simple.

Steven Burke claims to have developed the perfect tool for the frustrated marketer. The product itself is an automatic dialer program. The marketer records a message and programs the phone numbers of his leads into the system. The dialer will call the numbers and play the message to anyone who answers the phone. Listeners are then encouraged to push a button if they are interested in speaking to a live person. At that point the call will be sent directly back to the marketer.

There are several versions of Gold Calling available and individual marketers are not only encouraged to use the system, but to sell it as well; hence, the business opportunity. The commissions are very generous if you are able to make a sale, but, sadly, this is a one-up system and the commission from your fist sale will go directly to the person who sponsors you. One Gold Calling package costs $499 and promises to return $300 to the sales representative as commission; the other package costs $1,499 and promises to return $1,000 as commission.

Personally, I absolutely hate picking up the phone and hearing a recorded message. I don't care what you're trying to sell or what type of message you're trying to share. Recorded messages are cold and impersonal and do nothing but make me want to hang up the phone. Several people have tried to sell me the Gold Calling system over the past few weeks and I'm honestly not interested. Besides, my businesses run on automatic pilot now. I do nothing but a little internet marketing work and I never have to call anyone I don t want to speak to.

It is important to note that the makers of Gold Calling do not take any responsibility for the numbers you put into their system. Gold Calling will gladly sell you a list of sales lead phone numbers, but they do not care whether or not the numbers are on the federal Do Not Call List. Even worse, reading the fine print in Gold Calling's terms and conditions reveals that many of these numbers ARE on the Do Not Call List, and you are personally responsible for calls you make to these numbers.

The Gold Calling system will make you money if you are able to sell the system and the leads to go with it. I sincerely doubt you'll be able to make any real money by actually using the system itself. Of course, competition in the predictive calling industry is very tough, so the odds of you making a sale aside from the first (which goes directly to your sponsor) is slim. If you do sign up for this or a similar system, be sure to check out the company reputation. There is nothing worse than joining a company that ends up disappearing just when you their support the most!

After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
