While visiting a local used book store on the weekend I ran into a whole box full of self-help and wealth building books and courses that someone had brought in for a consignment sale. I offered the store-owner $75 and walked out with all kinds of interesting products. One of them was John Commuta's Turning Debt into Wealth Course.
I'd already heard John Commuta on the radio talking about reducing debt and building one's wealth quickly and efficiently by ordering his course. The commercial sounded very good, almost like a public service that would help couples and individuals get to where they wanted to be financially.
Debt consolidation is big business!
After listening and reading through the course I felt that this would be excellent information for a beginner or someone that had got themselves in a debt crisis. All of the debt-elimination information was elementary and not unlike anything else I'd read by Charles Given's or Robert Kiyosaki. Basically, don't use your credit cards, double payments on mortgages, reduce your spending and living expenses and concentrate on paying one debt at a time. In this case, the highest amount first, paid in quarterly payments. This is all sound advice but not exactly unique.
The wealth building side of the course is nothing more than a brief overview of 4 income-producing ideas. They are: affiliate marketing, online auctions, online product marketing and real estate. At this point you might as well go out and find yourself indepth courses on each of these business topics because you're not going to find any kind of blueprint here.
John Commuta's course is sketchy and unfinished, almost like he ran out of steam and was saving something for another followup course that would pickup where this one left off.
Maybe that was the whole idea...
After examining and testing hundreds of money-making opportunities and work at home programs, ONLY ONE brought in a paycheck that covered all my monthly expenses.
