Melaleuca is a large, well-established network marketing company offering many products containing "tea tree" oil. This is derived from the Australian Melaleuca Virticulata plant. Tea tree oil has documented health benefits.

Melaleuca manufactures household cleaners, soaps, shampoos, vitamins and allows its associates to sell these products for profit as well as signup new business associates.

I knew a young Quizno's owner who got involved with Melaleuca after hearing how people were making $10,000 a month after only 5 months. This entrepreneur was so excited that he started to have meetings 4 and 5 times a week at his own home. After doing this for 4 months he was making $147 a month, dealing with product  and many concerns and other disappointments. He quit his business and swears he'll never do MLM again. What a shame!
